The Shimabara Onsen Gamadas Fireworks Display, which began in 1993 as part of recovery efforts following the Mount Unzen-Fugendake volcanic eruption and to revitalize tourism, has now become an established summer tradition. It has grown into one of Kyushu’s premier fireworks Displays, drawing visitors from both within and outside the prefecture as a major event that many guests look forward to.

We are pleased to announce the date for the 2025 Display.
