Located right in front of Shimabara Castle’s keep, this store has a high ceiling and a vaulted ceiling, giving it a sense of openness. Our store offers a wide selection of souvenirs, including Nagasaki’s famous sponge cakes. From sweets, frozen foods, traditional handicrafts, key chains and cosmetics, we have the perfect souvenirs to commemorate your trip. At the food and beverage corner (castle teahouse), you can enjoy island specialties such as “kanzarashi,” local delicacies “rokubee,” “nyumen,” udon noodles with handmade broth and firm texture, curry, and “Unzen ham” are also popular. Shaved ice is also available in the summer to induce coolness.
