Shimabara Castle Spring Festival

Every year, during the peak season of cherry blossoms, the ‘Spring Festival’ is held at Shimabara Castle.

In late March, the area around Shimabara Castle turns pink and the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, the festival attracts many visitors because they can take pictures of Shimabara Castle and the cherry blossoms together.
In conjunction with the festival, Shimabara Castle holds a “Spring Festival.
Various stores, including catering cars and a general merchandise market, line the streets of Shimabara Castle.
The performance by the Shimabara Castle Shichimangoku Busyoutai is one of the main attractions of the festival.
