2024 Blooming Information

Spring in Full Bloom! A Stunning View of 5 Million Poppies and 10 Million Rapeseed Flowers.

Shimabara Hibariyama Flower Park was established in a designated erosion control area in Kamiorihashi-cho, Shimabara City, in cooperation with the public and private sectors, as a symbol of recovery from the eruption disaster of Mt.
We hold the ‘Spring Flower Festival’ every spring.

Approximately 200 cherry blossom trees, 5 million poppies, and 10 million rapeseed flowers bloom magnificently, vividly coloring the arrival of spring. Strolling through the park, you can enjoy the breathtaking scenery created by the colorful flower fields.

We also hold nighttime illuminations! The fantastical glow of the cherry blossoms and rapeseed flower fields at night offers a beauty that is different from daytime, allowing you to enjoy a unique charm.

  • From Mid-April: Azaleas
